Warranty & Terms of Purchase:
Every DRI-SleeperTM goes through a quality checking process during every step of the manufacture, and a final one just before packaging. However, if you find that your DRI-SleeperTM Alarm develops a fault, which is a manufacturing defect, during the first 30 days, it will be replaced free of any charge. If you have any problem with the function of the DRI-SleeperTM, first, read the fault finding section in the included manual or visit our web page “Frequently Asked Questions” with the link at the left. All Sales from the Dealer are Final. No cash/credit refunds. Due to the hygienic nature of this merchandise, it can not be resold by the dealer. Therefore, only faulty equipment will be replaced pursuant to the warranty. Damaged equipment resulting from mishandling is not covered by the warranty. Service: Please do not return merchandise unless you have first obtained a RA #. (Return Authorization Number). This is the only way to process warranty-related issues. This will also allow us to help you troubleshoot any correctable problem and to ensure you will receive the proper service you deserve. This procedure will also allow us to get replacement merchandise to you more quickly. Contact us for assistance. Placement: Insert the sensor inside of an adhesive backed paper liner (sanitary liner). Simply cut a slit just wide enough to slide the sensor completely within. (Inserting a smooth edged butter knife will separate the layers to accommodate the sensor's insertion.) Affix the liner on the front of the undergarment for a boy, and to the crotch area for a girl. The adhesive backing of the liner will affix to the undergarment and the cord may be positioned beneath the adhesive to minimize movement of the sensor. False alarms may result from a user with excessive skin perspiration. A thicker liner or additional garment layer will prevent a false trigger. Also, you may face the sensor away from the body. The area surrounding the sensor will then require more significant saturation in order to seep around the detector’s sensor.
Removal: Removal of sensor from undergarment or liner should be done with care. First, peel the liner (with sensor still inside) away from the garment. Then remove the sensor by gripping widest top portion of the moisture sensor (where the cord and sensor meet). CAUTION: Do not allow a small child to remove the sensor/cord by pulling up on only the cord. This will damage the sensor at the connection point beneath the flexible plastic housing. (Similar to pulling a lampcord from a wall socket!) The sensor is a thin and flexible device. It is constructed to fit comfortably against the body, therefore, only such reasonable flexing of the sensor caused during sleeping is covered under the warranty.
False Alarms: The alarm can not trigger without moisture present. Possible causes: 1) Perspiration. Thicken the layers between the skin and sensor by adding an extra garment or using a thicker paper liner or training pant inside of which you'll insert the sensor. 2) Moisture has become trapped within the components of the alarm unit. If the alarm was accidentally washed/immersed, allow to dry completely for several days in warm, dry area. Batteries may need replacement. It is possible that the alarm's components may have been spared damage from this event.
Cleaning: Place on a flat surface. Cleanse each side gently with mild soap and a damp cloth, wipe with damp cloth, and then pat dry. It's ready for immediate re-use. Do not bend the sensor excessively as this will cause damage. Do not immerse. Assist small children with proper removal. Keep away from pets which may chew on the sensor. Proper care of your device(s) will extend use.
Batteries: Before storing the device for an extended period of non-use, remove the batteries to protect the electronics from battery corrosion. Remove sensor plug from alarm unit. Store away from heat. There are 4 batteries which are each 1.5 volt alkaline "button type", similar to those used in a calculator. (Panasonic LR 44 or equivalent. A sticker inside the battery compartment shows the equivalent types that are suitable.) They last for approximately 1 year of use without need of changing during treatment. Evidence of expired batteries: The positive side (+) is no longer perfectly flat and appears to be slightly bulged. Dealer's Shipping Terms: Shipping within USA.
